Michelle Main
CMHC
Hi Folks. My name is Michelle Main. I have been in the Human Service field for over 20 years with the last several as a CMHC. I started in the early 1990s with Prevent Child Abuse Utah and from there went to DCFS. I specialized in Trauma from front line CPS to running a Domestic Violence shelter to getting a therapeutic TF-CBT endorsement as a therapist. This experience has given me a strong background in working with child/adolescent and adult trauma. I believe in hope, support, and empowerment as a strong base for any therapeutic relationship.

I also have years of experience with addiction. For several years I ran a court-ordered relapse prevention group for both adults and adolescents. I have worked with children and adults extensively in crisis situations. I am able to do both DV and Drug and Alcohol Assessments for both private and court-ordered folks.

I use an integrative approach to counseling that is specifically designed to honor each individual and their journey. I have a wide experience base with culturally diverse populations and bring that experience to my practice.
